Welcome to the Energy Saving Program of the Russian Ministry of Education website!

Energy efficiency increase is one of the most urgent tasks of the present. Russian Ministry of Education tackles energy saving matters within its Energy Saving Program 1999-2005.

The main purpose of the Program is to produce and disseminate knowledge in the field of Energy Efficiency within research and education projects. The Program also funds realization of demonstration projects aimed at implementing energy saving measures in academic buildings. The success of the Program is confirmed by the fact that educational institutions in Russia are broadly recognized as "points of growth" in energy efficiency.

International cooperation is a crucial point for further successful implementation of the Energy Saving Program. International knowledge, experience and technology transfer are vitally important for educational institutions in Russia in their efforts to strengthen competence in Energy Efficiency.

I do hope that you will find useful information here that would serve to promotion of international energy efficiency cooperation. монтаж строительных лесов . эффективные тепловые пушки

Energy Saving Program of the Russian Ministry of Education promotes energy efficiency at educational system in Russia. The Program finances research and educational projects as well as implementation of energy saving in academic buildings. There are more than 25 participating universities in the Program.

ENEFEN—The International Center on Energy Efficiency in the European North of Russia has been established at Petrozavodsk State University as a part of the network of university energy efficiency centers. ENEFEN is nominated by the Research-and-Technical Council of the Energy Saving Program to be responsible for developing cooperation between Russian and Nordic institutions dealing with energy efficiency.

ENEFEN has developed and supports on–line databases designed to promote international cooperation within the Energy Saving Program.

Education and Research Database contains information on institutions in Nordic countries and Russia which education and research activities lays within energy efficiency, renewable energy, climate change and other related areas. The database also holds information on projects proposed or implemented by the institutions.

Information and Financing Resources Database contains information on various information–disseminating and financing organizations and programs targeted on promoting energy efficiency.

Energy Efficient Products and Technologies Database holds descriptions, standards and other related data on energy saving technologies, equipment, products and materials (mainly Russian).
